Privacy Policy

About this policy
Sudo Words is a free word game made by Bernardo, an independent developer (“I,” “me”). This policy explains what information the app uses, why, and the choices you have.
Sudo Words does not have accounts and does not send your game data to me. The only third party that receives information from the app is Google AdMob, which shows the ads that keep the game free.
Information the app keeps
Your game data stays on your device. This includes your puzzles, scores, streaks, statistics, and settings.
- I do not collect your name, email address, contacts, photos, or precise location.
- There is no sign-in, and nothing you type into the game is sent to me.
- Deleting the app deletes this data from your device.
Advertising
Sudo Words shows ads through Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. To show and measure ads, AdMob may collect:
- Device identifiers, including Apple’s advertising identifier (IDFA) only if you allow tracking
- Your IP address and approximate location derived from it
- Device and app information, such as device model, iOS version, and app version
- Ad interactions, such as which ads were shown or tapped
- Diagnostic data, such as crashes and performance
If you allow tracking, AdMob may use this information to show ads based on your interests. If you don’t, you will still see ads, but they won’t be personalized using your activity across other apps and websites.
Google handles this information under its own policies. Learn more at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
I do not sell your personal information. I do not receive the data AdMob collects in a form that identifies you; I only see aggregate reports, such as total ad views.
Your choices
You control ad tracking at any time.
- Tracking permission – The app asks before allowing tracking. You can change your answer in iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland – If you are in these regions, the app asks for your consent before personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice from the app’s settings.
- Stop all data collection – Uninstalling the app stops all collection by the app and AdMob.
Children’s privacy
Sudo Words is a general-audience game suitable for all ages. When the app learns that a player is under 13, it shows only non-personalized ads and does not request tracking permission.
I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact me and I will work to address it.
Retention, security & your rights
Game data stays on your device until you delete the app. Data collected by AdMob is kept according to Google’s retention policies.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information, or to opt out of personalized advertising. Because I don’t hold your data, the fastest ways to act are the settings above and Google’s privacy controls. You can also contact me and I will help where I can.
Changes & contact
If this policy changes, I will update it here and change the effective date at the top.
